Getting started
What is TerraFarm? TerraFarm is a plant and farm management app that helps you track farms, plants, care actions, and related insights.
How do I track my plants? After you set up your farm and add your plants, TerraFarm will automatically prompt you with maintenance tasks.
Where do I see my actions? Go to your home screen to view your upcoming care activities
Notifications
Turn on notifications
On iOS, go to Settings → Notifications → TerraFarm and allow notifications.
In TerraFarm, open Profile → Notifications to choose which alerts you want (reminders, status changes, updates/news).
Reminders don’t arrive
Confirm notifications are enabled for TerraFarm in iOS Settings.
Make sure you are following at least one launch/event.
Check Focus/Do Not Disturb modes and notification delivery settings.
Try toggling alerts off/on in TerraFarm, then restart the app.
Why did my tasks change?
Care tasks and times can shift due to the weather (watering), changing the plant growth stage (e.g. ripening) or adding another task manually. TerraFarm refreshes data periodically and will reflect updated times when providers publish changes.
Widgets
How to add a widget: Long-press your Home Screen → tap + → search for TerraFarm → choose a widget size.
Widget shows the wrong item: If your widget supports configuration, long-press the widget → Edit Widget to choose the nearest followed item or a specific mission.
Widget not updating: iOS controls widget refresh frequency. Opening the app, ensuring Background App Refresh is enabled, and keeping followed items up to date can help.

What does Premium unlock?
Unlimited plants and farms (beyond the free follow limit).
iCloud sync across devices (follows and key preferences), when enabled.
Manage or cancel a subscription
Open iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Select TerraFarm and manage your plan or cancellation there.
Restore purchases
In TerraFarm, go to Profile → Restore Purchases.
Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID used for purchase.
Refunds
Apple handles billing and refunds. You can request a refund via Apple’s purchase support flow. If you’re not sure which plan you purchased or something looks wrong, email us and we’ll help you verify.
Sync (iCloud)
Premium required: iCloud sync is available with Premium (when enabled in Profile/Settings).
Sync not working: Confirm iCloud is enabled on your device, you’re signed into iCloud, and TerraFarm has permission to use iCloud.
Conflicts: If you recently changed follows on multiple devices, allow a few minutes for propagation, then use the manual sync action (if available).
Data sources & credits
TerraFarm aggregates biological information, plant growth schedules, news, and imagery from multiple providers. Provider credits are available in-app in the About/Credits section.
